Just five minutes drive away you will find eighteen kilometres of beautiful 'Blue Flag' beaches surrounded by serene salt lakes and conservation areas of pine, eucalyptus and palm trees, with full amenities and ample free parking.

In El Ras you have the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of activities, from booked excursions where you can visit many historical sites in the area to entertaining the children or just relaxing in the quiet surroundings.

A trip to the local Lemon Tree Market is both charming and exciting and an experience not to be missed. Here you can buy just about anything from bread, meat, fruit and vegetables from the local farmers to beach towels, bags and sunglasses. You can even sit in one of the many cafes and enjoy a full English breakfast while listening to the peaceful sound of panpipes courtesy of the musicians who play there.

Guardamar Del Segura with its ancient fort and picturesque marina is just a five minute drive away. It has its own cafe lined promenade overlooking the beach where you can sit and have a bite to eat or drink. With deeply religious roots it regularly holds spectacular fiestas. During the holiday season Sofia Reina Park hosts a programme of open air concerts, has a night time market and a small fun fare. Parking throughout the year is free and these events are well worth the visit.
